Description & ecology

Individual foliar Tl maximum 23,100 µg g⁻¹ DW (Jakovljević et al. 2023, Metallomics 15:mfad063, doi:10.1093/mtomcs/mfad063, open-access PMC).

Population mean foliar Tl was 7,060 ± 2,240 µg g⁻¹ (Table 1); the previous review-cited record used that mean. Arsenic (≤26 µg/g) is below threshold and largely contamination-derived.

One of three Allchar Viola taxa in which Tl hyperaccumulation was confirmed endogenous by synchrotron µXRF.
