Description & ecology

Herbarium XRF flagged high yttrium; ICP-AES confirmed total REE up to 4,278 µg/g (all four sampled specimens >2,000 µg/g), among the highest recorded for any plant (Goudard et al. 2024).

ΣREE convention (~1,000 µg/g) used as the threshold, as van der Ent et al. (2013) sets no formal REE cut-off.
