Description & ecology

Subspecies tuberculatum reaches foliar Ni of 30,260 µg/g with >10 wt% Ni in the ash; a distinct Ni record for a genus better known for zinc (subsp. sumatranum reaches 10,730 µg/g Zn on normal soil).
